A leading blue chip is looking for a Security Consultant to join their team on a contract basis
Keys Skills
- 3 years experience of working with Checkpoint on Nokia and Cisco ASA Firewalls
- Ideally CCSA, CCSE qualified (R65 or above)
- Working knowledge of Checkpoint Firewalls running VSX on Nokia/Checkpoint platforms
- Experience of running virtual Firewalls on a Crossbeam platform.
- Good working knowledge of Ironports and SSL VPN technologies, allied to excellent TCP/IP skills.
- Understanding of risk assessment techniques, and detailed understanding of technical security risks and appropriate countermeasures.
- Detailed understanding of technical security threats and appropriate countermeasures
- Understanding of Windows, Unix and Networking (TCP/IP)
- Understanding of applicable legislation, regulation and industry standards including ISO27001
- Discretion, tact and diplomacy when dealing with security incidents
