SAP Consultant - SAP, SD, MM, FI, BW - My client, very large technology company requires senior SAP SD and MM consultants to join them on a Contract basis based in Galway. Our client would also be interested to hear from SAP consultants in BW and FI at very senior level.Knowledge and Skills Required:
Strong experience in SAP Finance - Configuration and development experience. Substantial exposure to interfaces user exits and interface development. Exposure to SD & MM essential. Must have extensive experience in guiding technical development and influencing complex solutions, evaluating performance optimized solutions a plus.
Positive and aggressive attitude. High tolerance for fast pace, change and ambiguity. Good verbal and written communication skills; influencing skills and ability to work effectively in a geographically dispersed team. Demonstrated technical leadership skills. Strong organization and facilitation skills.
Acknowledged as an SAP expert in their business area, has SAP functional industry expertise and a deep level of understanding on the business processes for their area. Applies advanced subject matter knowledge to complex business issues, and is regarded as a subject matter expert. Establish and maintain trusted-advisor relationships with key stakeholders to develop value-added "to-be" processes, encompassing process, organization and technology, and based on industry best practices.
As a member of the SAP & BW COE you'll be working with one of the largest and most complex SAP implementations in the world. In your role as an Senior SAP Consultant, you'll be charged with:
Engaging with business partners and other IT teams to formulate and structure technical projects.
Developing and managing the project structure and team, reporting and communication for the project.
Working through business requirements and designing technical solutions to meet business needs.
Driving the execution of the deliverables from inception through to implementation.
Challenging both business and IT to come up with the technical solution that can meet business needs effectively and efficiently.
The SAP SD consultant will be responsible for leading a number of SAP full life cycle engagements involving across multiple sites and business units in the UK and across the EU.
The ideal candidate would be able to engage with multiple levels within business and IT ranging from executive through analyst. This candidate would enjoy a fast paced environment which challenges him or her to "think outside the box" to deliver a solution that is technically sound quickly to meet rapidly changing business needs. He or she would enjoy working in a highly collaborative and flexible organization of solid technical resources.
The experience expected is wide ranging, covering order management and pricing, best-in-class interface development, and on boarding of new customer facing web services onto the SAP Back End. The SAP SD Consultant will be tasked with understanding various business needs across the SAP SD/MM space, developing solutions that do not compromise the Global solution and then delivery through management of junior resources as well as configuration of the system.

Typically a technical Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience and a minimum of 12 years of related experience in a lead position on SAP Finance Projects.
