Manning Global is currently looking for an experienced Penetration Testing Consultants for one of our clients a leading International Software Company for permanent positions based in the UK
The role:
Performing Security Assessments and Penetration Testing for our customers; assisting them with the identification of vulnerabilities and issues, as well as providing documented details of these issues and security measures to address and mitigate threats.
The role involves both remote testing and on-site client visits, to provide a structured programme of security testing and delivery of a management report providing recommendations for improved security measures.
Key competencies required:
•Proven ability to conduct security assessments and penetration testing
•A passionate for IT security
•Proven ability to explain the output of a penetration test to a non-technical client
•Use of a variety of security testing tools and exploits to identify vulnerabilities and recommend corrective action
•Strong inter-personal and communication skills
•Report writing skills
•Presentation skills
•Deep knowledge of IP networking protocols
•Excellent understanding of Application security
•Development experience or background is desirable but not essential
•Must be prepared to travel
Experience required:
•Industry recognised qualifications such as CHECK, CREST, or Tiger is desirable but not essential
•Manual penetration testing and a deep understanding of IP networking in a security context
•Experience with security testing of Web-based applications
•Client facing experience
•Current UK driving licence (desirable but not essential)
