Our Raleigh Financial Services client has an immediate contract-to-FTE requirement for a Windows Systems Engineer. This role will be 1st shift (8am - 5pm, Monday- Friday).  Our client is seeking a candidate who desires to grow and be groomed into a Systems Engineer career path in a projects and engineering role.

In this role you will be responsible for entry level systems analyst/engineering tasks, including: executing and monitoring documented system build tasks; managing the flow of incoming hardware and components, including some of the physical move and storage; assisting other engineers with build and project tasks including activities related to record keeping, hostname and IP allocation, etc.; and assisting other engineers with other types of project related tasks that are repeatable and suitable for the position.

Required skills include:

- Windows 2008 R2 build and administration.
- Experience with Enterprise environments and related activities including server related documentation and record keeping.
- Experience working on multiple projects/tasks at the same time.
- Collaboration skills (people skills).
- Experience with installing/configuring applications.
- Good troubleshooting skills.

Specific technology experience that would be preferred includes: Windows Server, iSCSI/SAN/Fiber storage, TCP/IP, Microsoft Clustering, Load Balancing, Virtualization (Hyper-V experience a plus), SCVMM.
