IT/finance Project Consultant
We currently have an exciting opportunity for a contractor who is looking for a position which crosses over between IT and Finance, Ideally we are looking for someone who has experience of working within a Finance area and has had exposure to controlling, Budgeting Reporting and Project Management.
Job Overview
- The individual must be able to develop professional relationships with various international colleagues & partners, analyse and decipher accounting data in order to accurately review the IT End device department's reporting obligations.
- you must be able to identify issues and develop innovative solutions towards continuous process improvements.
- The main responsibility is to manage the volume steering function and process all financial related activities for the IT End device function within the UK.
- you must be well organised, detail oriented and be able to perform a variety of tasks under time pressure and strict deadlines.
Key Accountabilities
- Serve as the first point of contact for Budget, forecast & financial target discussions.
- Support the IT End device Manager with long range planning, budgeting & forecasting processes for the department.
- Co-ordinates & monitors individual End User Device department's annual budget financial planning & reporting by assisting in annual budget planning.
- Perform cost and control reporting by monitoring spend. Ensures that all entries are correctly coded and allocated within pre-determined financial systems, liaising with local Finance departments as necessary.
- Manages changes, addendums and updates of all relevant contract documents collaborating with Purchasing and legal departments and Interacts extensively with UK finance departments.
Qualifications & Skills
- Experience within a financial/controlling/accounting role including exposure to controlling, budgeting, reporting and project management
- SAP experience
- Extensive MS Office skills, in particular within MS Excel
