Senior IT Procurement Specialist - Overview:
Senior IT Procurement specialist required for our Financial Services client.
Senior IT Procurement Specialist - The Role:
You will be required to lead the full procurement process including development of scope, supplier selection, commercial negotiation and contract execution, taking into account current corporate strategy and the long-term impacts of such decisions.
Develop and negotiate contracts in order to maximise profitability, secure supply, mitigate risk and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
The successful applicant will have a detailed knowledge of contract law, ensures legal risk is mitigated in new contracts and keeps up-to-date with relevant legislation.
Support development and implementation of procurement strategy, using knowledge and experience to amend and challenge policy, procedures and processes.
Senior IT Procurement Specialist - The Requirements:
- Experienced in IT procurement negotiations, tender production, contract and supplier management
- Experience of supporting business critical cross-functional projects
- In-depth knowledge of IT procurement
- In-depth knowledge of software licensing for both standard and bespoke software
- Must have worked in a Procurement role within Financial Services/Insurance etc
