Microwave Engineer- USA
A leading telecommunications company is seeking to recruit a Microwave Engineer to work in Dallas, Texas. As Microwave Engineer- USA you will have a proven background in designing transport networks with point-to-point microwave, point-to-multipoint multipoint microwave for access backhaul design using different topologies.
As Microwave Engineer USA you will:
*Be confident in using Ericsson TEMS Linkplanner and Pathloss 4.0
*Have been involved in Microwave nominal network planning
*Have an understanding of and be able to explain the differences between PDH, SDH and Ethernet
*Be able to explain the relationship between dish gain and beamwidth
*Be involved in the path design including 99.999% propagation availability and end-to-end network availability using terrain and clutter data.
*Be responsible for planning and directing line-of-sight surveys and adjust network design daily based on LOS feedback.
*Be able to understand frequency coordination and FCC licensing processes.
*Have the ability to work independently, evaluate customer requirements and provide solutions.
As Microwave Engineer you will have the ability to lead teams, have a professional attitude, excellent written and verbal skills, good planning and organizational skills and have the ability to produce deliverable documentation.
