French and English speaking SQL Server DBA
Objective:
We are actively searching a SQL Server DBA to support these projects. The DBA will have to demonstrate a specific profile described below.
Responsibilities:
Install, configure, and maintain multiple SQL Server databases and related products, following reference architecture and standards.
Ensure security, data integrity, and maintain a high level of systems availability.
Provide support to developers.
Ensure 2nd line support (handling incidents and problems)
Ensure 3rd level support (performance tuning and troubleshooting).
Be able to work in an ITIL-structured environment.
SKILLS
Business experience required
2+ years of related experience in a financial institute or large organization
Personal skills
Stress resistant
Team player
Problem solving, communication, organizational, time management, and multi-tasking
Technical experience required
In depth knowledge of SQL Server DBE 2005 and 2008 R2
Knowledge of SQL Server BI 2008 R2
Security and risk awareness
Knowledge and experience with
SQL Server Clustering and SQL
Server Database Mirroring.
