C++ Software Developer required for Daily Rate Contract - Limerick, Southern Ireland.
My client a multinational communications firm based in Limerick is recruiting for a C++ specialist to develop and implement software in a project based environment. This is a daily rate contract role with approximately 6 month duration.
The role will encompass the following areas:
*Creation and review of Functional Specifications.
*Design and implement complex modules with minimal supervision.
*Review design specifications and code developed by other team members.
*Take a component design and progress it through to development, testing, documentation and delivery.
*Create and review test plans.
*Installation and delivery of developed applications to a customer site.
Candidates should ideally have a relevant degree, with a number of years industry experience and a strong background in the following areas:
*Experience in the full software development life cycle
*Real Time/Embedded software development
*Telecommunications and signalling systems including SS7, IN/CAMEL, PARLAY, MAP
*Distributed, mixed platform solutions
*C, C++, UNIX, Perl, Java
