PROJECT
The project will be transitioning from the original platform of ECC5 to a new owned and operated SAP ECC6 solution and associated components. A fully owned and managed SAP solution would give the department the tools to improve functionality and flexibility, implement and integrated strategic reporting solution, manage the data within the department's data management framework and provide improved corporate governance to allow the department's CEO to fulfil the accountabilities under the shared services framework.
POSITION SUMMARY
- The project requires the services of an experienced SAP Solution Architect for a government
- department with heavy investment in DET BI and ERP Program.
- You will have responsibility for leading the following activities and delivery of the following key tasks:
- Engaging with executives, business stakeholders and technical teams to formulate the implementation
- of the business process.
- Application of SAP FI/PM/Procurement experience in order to evaluate and analyse the impact of
- configuration or process changes across other SAP modules
- Ensure the solution integrates into the departments IT infrastructure
- Provide project oversight and ensure compliance with the Departments IT strategy and governance
- requirements
ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS
- Demonstrated experience in delivery in major SAP ERP implementation projects for large complex
- government organisations
- Demonstrated business solution process integration knowledge especially in the Asset Management
- Lifecycle
- Demonstrated solid background in Finance, Costing, Asset Management
- High level strategic analysis skills and business analysis skills with the ability to convert into solution
- design and architecture documentation.
- High level consultative skills with the ability to engage and influence project stakeholders and project
- team members.
- 5 years solution architecture experience
- Minimum of 2 SAP implementations
DESIRABLE REQUIREMENTS
- Deep knowledge Solution Delivery methodology and tools
- Experience working in government environment with Prince2 methodology
