High profile industry leader is seeking a Sr. Systems Analyst for a long term contract opportunity in Plano, TX. This position demands a Senior Systems Analyst with experience in systems integration and strong SQL skills. The candidate should have experience in designing enterprise solutions using Object Oriented Analysis and Design methodologies. The candidate should be proficient in Use Case Analysis, Creating UML diagrams (Activity and Sequence Diagrams), High Level Document (HLD) and Data Mapping Documents. The individual should possess excellent communication, facilitation and negotiation skills. The individual must be comfortable with aggressive project timelines and a rapidly changing environment and be adept at multitasking. Project management and leadership skills are required as this person may be called upon to take the lead on projects and work with the Line of Business on defining the scope and functional requirements, coordinate with the development team and QA. Also required to work with multiple groups, within and outside of MST including overseas teams to resolve issues.
Necessary skills:
* 8+ years experience in Systems Analysis
* Strong experience in SQL and Stored Procedures
* Experience in UML and OOA
* Experience in XML
* Knowledge of N-tier and Service Oriented Architecture
* Strong analytical and communication skills - written and verbal
* Ability to work closely with business users and other project teams
* Bachelors degree in Computer Science or Information Technology (and/or equivalent experience).
Pluses:
* Experience with reliability and scalability concerns involving Legacy systems
* Familiarity with mortgage banking industry
