Patent search/Patent Analysis - Food Industry - Cambridgeshire - 1-2 Months
Role:
The role will mainly involve patent searching, patent analysis and contextualising findings in light of client plans. You should also have a good working knowledge of the patent system and the ability to analyse patents in the above areas.
You should have a background in food science and industrial scale food processing technologies. Specific expertise will be required in:
Cereals and grain, including processing, formulating and finished products (including, but not limited to breakfast cereals and grain-based snacks).
Process equipment and conditions used to manufacture completed grain-based products.
Qualifications might include BSc in (for example) Food Science, Human Nutrition or Food Technology. Alternatively, a life sciences degree followed by time in the food industry would be acceptable.
You will have 3+ years of work in the food industry. A good understanding of patents is fine; you don't need to be a lawyer in the making.
