Description
Computer People have an exciting opportunity for a Senior FileNet Technical Specialist to work a 6 month contract in London for a large Financial Services/Retail Banking organisation.
The successful candidate will have strong experience in FileNet 4 and will be conversant with latest FileNet v5.1. Agile experience is advantageous as well as FileNet v4.5 or Pega PRPC.
Responsibilities:
- To lead Subject Matter Expert teams and Engineers to undertake the day to day delivery of a comprehensive functional service and/or complex change projects. To contribute to the functions operating plan in line with strategy
- You will be a Technical Expert who drives integrity and maintenance of the applications which they are responsible for within a Platform team.
- Provides technical expertise to ensure compliance and quality standards are adhered to at all times
- Continually drive improvements in delivery
- Possess knowledge of applications, technologies and business processes within an area of expertise and will leverage quality and innovation within the Platform teams.
Main Accountabilities:
- Ability to provide a cross Platform design leadership.
- Manages and motivates technical staff and contributes to the technical capability development of the Platform.
- Provide specialist knowledge to input into the strategic direction of applications, technologies, tools or business processes within the Platform, ensuring the integrity of technical applications and technology is maintained at all times
- Identifies, clarifies and assesses complex business problems and inputs into provision of scenario solutions.
- Involved in the Initiation of change and identifies opportunities for improving technology solutions within the team
- Manages and builds key Stakeholder relationships across individual sphere of influence to improve services
- Ensures compliance of IT architecture governance standards, procedures, guidelines, quality standards, and all regulatory and statutory requirements
- Ensures all compliance and design standards are maintained ensuring adherence to IT project life cycle and software development life cycles.
- Proactively shares own knowledge and technical expertise to others within team through consultation, providing advice and coaching others.
