Description
The project will be transitioning from the original platform of ECC5 to a new owned and operated SAP ECC6 solution and associated components. A fully owned and managed SAP solution would give the department the tools to improve functionality and flexibility, implement and integrated strategic reporting solution, manage the data within the department's data management framework and provide improved corporate governance to allow the department's CEO to fulfil the accountabilities under the shared services framework.
POSITION SUMMARY
The project requires the services of an experienced SAP Data Migration Consultant to develop a detail data migration strategy for the implementation of DET BI and ERP Program.
ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS
Demonstrated experience and knowledge in the areas of Datamodelling, Data Quality
Assurance, and data reconciliation in a complex, multidisciplinary organisation.
Demonstrated experience in applying Data Quality Methodologies to design, implement and reconcile the migration of large quantities of data into complex applications and/or interim storage solutions.
Demonstrated interpersonal and communication skills with particular emphasis in the areas of team collaboration, team mentoring, consultation, negotiation, influencing, conflict resolution and assertiveness in order to resolve issues and meet changing customer needs relevant to the provision of Data Analysis services.
5 years SAP Data Migration experience
Minimum of 2 full life cycle implementations
DESIRABLE REQUIREMENTS
SAP ERP 6 experience would be highly regarded
Experience working in government environment with Prince2 methodology
