Description
A Senior MDM (Masterdata Management) Architect is being sought by a leading global client in Shenzhen, China (next to Hong Kong)
This position will interact with senior business and IT clients to provide team leadership and hands-on data governance and MDM technical and functional expertise. This role will help drive Master Data Strategy, Data Governance/Standardization, Master Data Process Design, High Level MDM Architecture and the Implementation Roadmap as per client's needs. Candidates must have strong MDM experience with the ability to facilitate a MDM and ESB framework including developing logical MDM architectures, and developing a conceptual MDM governance structures. The ideal candidate must have a proven track record of building large scale MDM projects from the ground up.
Job Responsibilities:
Defining the governance requirements for MDM solutions along with defining the business process associated with data governance, ownership/stewardship.
Analyze database and business systems in order to perform data modelling (high level conceptual business/data models, entity-relationship logical data models, and detailed physical database design models
Identify strategy for data acquisition and archival using SOA based Enterprise Service Bus (ESB) with a key focus on simplicity and data quality
Develop a MDM Roadmap and evaluate MDM strategy/tools
Develop strategies for key enterprise entities
Partner with Business and Other IT teams for data quality and stewardship programs.
Establish Technical recommendations for optimized data access and retention for the data storage
Key Requirements:
IT standards and governance expertise
Analysis and documentation of MDM requirements
Strong experience with MDM architecture
Experience with at least two MDM tools
Strong understanding of data management principles
Knowledge of Datawarehouse and operational systems
Experience with ETL, BI, Middleware and messaging technologies
Industry Expertise:
This individual must have experience working in Manufacturing/Telecom/Finance industry with progressive experience in Information Management and Architecture over the past 7-10 years, including:
Large Scale Data Delivery & Datawarehouse
Master Data Management (at least 2 full scale implementations)
Information Quality, Information Governance and Stewardship
This individual must have worked at all levels of technical delivery including development, testing, design, and architecture.
