My Client is a Major bank that is looking for a Credit Risk Business Data Analyst to join their team for a 6 month renewable contract.

Duties:

Research business requirements extending beyond today's reporting requirements
Understands the distinction between business and functional requirements and can elicit, document and prioritise high level and detailed requirements
Define Credit Risk Critical Data Elements using the Consolidated Risk Report, regulatory requirements and business requirements from the Risk Leadership Team and other Risk Programmes
Perform stakeholder interviewing to understand the existing processes and gather new requirements
Agree ownership of Credit Risk Critical Data Elements with the Risk Leadership Team and business areas using the data governance framework
Determine the root source of all raw data attributes required to generate Critical Data Elements
Define the calculations required to generate Critical Data Elements
Determine data quality issues/process inefficiencies relating to source data to help develop strategic requirements for the strategic solution definition
Create and populate a Metadata Management Platform for Credit Risk data to contain all business metadata required for data mapping, sourcing and transformation
Develop a repeatable methodology for the remaining Risk disciplines
Assist with the production of project documentation, as required
Assist with the delivery of workstreams, ensuring effective controls are in place and maintaining appropriate project governance processes
Engage with other data management workstreams to ensure open communication is maintained throughout the programme
Engage with key stakeholders, Group IT and other related programmes
Good communication skills with the ability to adapt style, language and content to suit a range of audiences
