My client are seeking a number of community engagement managers to work on the rollout of their advanced broadband services across Australia.

Reporting to General Manager External Relations, you will be responsible for delivering the community engagement aspects of this large-scale National project.

Roles and Responsibilities include:

  • This role is Australia-wide so would require travel and working weekends
  • Implementation of community engagement plan
  • Develop a strong understanding of target communities
  • Addressing sensitive community relations issues
  • Work closely alongside the Communications team and Liaise with local authorities and community stakeholders
  • Managing budgets
  • Co-ordinate internal and external stakeholders to the benefit of the local communities.

The successful candidate will have:

  • Experience in working in a large complex Matrix environment
  • Successfully built relationships with senior stakeholders and have a proven track record of success in your field.
  • Proven record having worked on both 3G and 4G projects (Essential)
  • Demonstrated experience in managing complex stakeholder environments
  • A good understanding of evolving telecommunications technology developments
  • Excellent communications and people management skills
  • The ability to work with and influence all types of stakeholders both internally and externally
  • Project management and self leadership capabilities;
  • Ability to work in a dynamic and challenging workplace;
  • Collaboration and influencing skills
