Change & Communications Lead - Sunbury

My client a leading Oil & Gas company based in Sunbury are looking for a Change & Communications Lead to join their team.

The candidate is required to Develop the change and communications strategy, plan and infrastructure as a part of the global resourcing transformation programme. This role will be fundamental in establishing and executing a plan to engage the various stakeholders in delivery - particularly those recruiting and managing recruitment efforts around the world

We envisage that this role will be more about connecting a global community of people involved in recruiting for the client where understanding business deliverables, common goals, sense of purpose, achievement, progression and celebrations of success are the core content - rather than a model where the core content is broadcasted messages from the centre.

Key Deliverables
- Develop a stakeholder engagement map for the programme, including relationships and interdependencies
- Undertake an audit of the communications channels available
- Undertake an assessment of the key organisational levers that drive behaviour
- Develop the core message set for the programme
- Articulate programme's business drivers, rationale, critical success factors
- Feed into HR Agenda, demonstrating resourcing contributions to overall priorities
- Develop a change and communications strategy and plan leveraging the established Intranet platform (Sharepoint) and other tools as necessary
- Define and deliver activity plan, utilising a range of channels, through existing and new methods
- Develop and deliver Programme comms packs on programme achievement, issues and risks
- Prepare materials to support steering group sessions
- Tidying up and improving our current sharepoint properties
- Bring into the business examples of leading practice in this area

Essential criteria
- Experience of developing and delivering communications in the context of a large, complex, global change programme
- Excellent insight into what makes recruiters, sourcers and HR professionals tick and what information needs they may have
- Technical knowledge to architect a suitable communications infrastructure leveraging sharepoint and appropriate web 3.0 technologies including social media
- Passionate about the power of effective communications in delivering change
- Demonstrated experience of managing and influencing a broad range of stakeholders in a complex Matrix environment
- Thinker, shaper and doer - there will be days of presenting concepts to influencial leaders and days of uploading 74 research files to sharepoint
- Self starter who can create the clarity and alignment needed to make a difference
