My client is one of the largest and most widely respected pharmaceutical companies in the world. Headquartered in Switzerland, the animal health division is present in almost 40 countries, with approximately 2,600 associates worldwide. They focus on the well-being of companion animals and the health and productivity of farm animals.
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Sales Support/Strategic Accounts Assistant to join the strategic account team within the animal health division based at their UK head office in Frimley, Surrey (GU16). This is a new role which will be on an initial 12 months contract with the potential of going permanent.
The individual will be assisting and supporting 2 national account managers in achieving sales and profitability targets on allocated national customer accounts through administrative support of promotional activity.
KEY RESPONSABILITIES:
* Direct involvement with brand manager, NAM's and customer account in formulation of promotional calendar for upcoming year.
* Assist in design of promotions for activation in customer accounts.
* Analysing and presenting back insights on promotional effectiveness and opportunity.
* Involvement with Internet strategy within that account as well as assist brand managers in implementing clinical support on web sites, online compliance tools and consumer support offers.
KEY SKILLS REQUIRED:
* NO direct account management or industry experience is necessary although a drive & passion for the animal health industry is essential.
* Degree educated with a BSc/B.A. Hons ideally within animal health, agricultural, pharmaceutical or science.
* Have strong communication & time management skills with excellent drive and focus.
* Strong knowledge of PC package tools, including, Spreadsheets (Excel) and presentations (PowerPoint).
