Description
A leading Law firm urgently requires a Commercial Accountant for an initial 2 month contract to assist with year end and movement in the team.
This role is key in:
* Ensuring that their firmwide reporting and analysis requirements are produced accurately and on time and are fully understood.
* Financial planning and analysis
* Supporting the finance leadership team by providing quality decision support information and ensuring they have the information required to run the business
* Improving firmwide processes such as forecasting and budgeting through the implementation of a new Cognos Planning budgeting and forecasting tool
* Identifying ways to remove duplication in reporting deliverables
The role requires Commercial Accounts with the following experience
* Firmwide experience
* Qualified Accountant
* Legal would be beneficial but not essential, however, large professional services exposure would then need to be a must.
* Excellent communication skills to build relationships with senior management
* Financial reporting and analytical experience (not management reporting)
