Description
Immediate opening for a Senior SharePoint Architect. As a SharePoint Architect you will design, implement and support SharePoint solutions while interacting with internal teams along with clients at all levels to identify requirements, formulate technical strategies, create functional design documentation, provide thought leadership, and act as a trusted advisor and mentor leading the implementation of enterprise architecture. The ideal candidate will be versed in both MOSS 2007 and SharePoint 2010 custom implementations as well as out-of-the-box installations. Qualified candidates must have experience developing custom web parts in C# and Visual Studio, SharePoint site configuration and administration, BDC configuration, enterprise search, and extensive SharePoint UI redesign/branding. The candidate will be a highly motivated self-starter who can work effectively in a dynamic environment where goals and specifications may change frequently. You must have at least 5 years of heavy hands-on, end-to-end SharePoint implementation and development experience. You will also assist in the development and delivery of pre & post sales presentations, and engage with sales team to understand requirements and present solutions.
Required Experience:
4+ years experience with Microsoft SharePoint technologies (SP 2010, SP 2007, WSS3.0)
4+ years custom Sharepoint Development using Web Parts, C# and Visual Studio
3+ years Sharepoint Architect experience
5+ years C#
3+ years SQL Server experience with understanding of Stored Procedures, Triggers and Views
Experience upgrading MOSS 2007 to SharePoint 2010
Experience with .NET Framework 3.5 and higher
Experience in designing customized solutions for SharePoint specifically UI redesign
Thorough knowledge of Web related technologies such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Web Services, XML, AJAX
