Our Dallas, TX Client is seeking a Senior .NET Developer for a contract to hire.
Ability to turn a business vision into a physical reality. This includes physical implementation of all aspects of the application architecture: high performance design, coding, caching, security, encryption, session state management, error logging, scalability, etc. This role also requires significant experience in high volume systems and/or E-business design and the ability to architect solutions based on different design algorithms to a set of highly complex problems. Expertise in web development in C#, .NET are essential for this position.
Responsibilities:
- Implement all aspects of an application design including but not limited to: high performance design, coding, caching mechanisms, security, encryption, state management, error logging, scalability, code reviews, environment configuration, proper testing procedures, naming standards and all other aspects of good application design and development, etc.
- Architect and develop solutions based on different design algorithms to a set of highly complex problems.
- Perform unit and system level testing on their application and all affected systems.
- Work at the lowest levels and taking the product through the entire life cycle of analysis, design, coding, testing and implementation and support.
- Deliver the required functionality in an agreed upon timely manner.
- Undertake complete projects or stepping-in to an ongoing project and become an immediate contributor.
- Mentor and coach application developers.
- Analyze requirements and deliver realistic estimates for the implementation of related functionality.
- All other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- BS or BA Degree.
- 5+ years technical business experience.
- 5+ years experience with process development and implementation of customer-centric views.
- 3+ years experience with implementation of large enterprise or E-business systems.
- Experience working with; C#, ASP.NET, Visual Studio 2008 and/or 2010, Windows Server 2003.NET Framework (preferably 2.0 - 4.0.).
- Experience in an environment that utilizes SQL Server (preferably 2008), IIS 6.0 and up and understanding that changes made to the Back End of systems will effect Front End functionality.
- CSS and HTML proficiency.
- Javascript usage on the DOM.
- Knowledge of jQuery a plus.
- Proven track record of designing effective, scalable, distributed, high performance software and/or E-business systems.
- Significant object-oriented and relational database design experience.
- Experience writing unit tests and mocks.
- Excellent written and verbal communications skills.
- Client will not accept subcontractors
