Computer People, have an exciting opportunity for a IFW Technician (Information Framework Technician) to work a 6 month contract based in Edinburgh for a large Financial/Retail Banking client.
Role:
*To lead SME teams/engineers to undertake the daily delivery of functional service and/or complex change projects, contributing to the Functions operating plan in line ADM/Group IT strategy.
Reporting into the SME Pool Manager, candidate will be:
* Technical expert who drives integrity and maintenance of the applications within a Platform team
* Provides technical expertise to ensure compliance and quality standards
* Assists in leading the technological direction of the Platform
* Lead SME will also ensure Platform SME teams and engineering teams within Platforms continually drive improvements in delivery
ESSENTIALS
-Financial/Retail banking experience ideal
-IFW (information framework) knowledge
-Identifies, clarifies and assesses complex business problems, inputs into provision of scenario solutions
-Self Motivation
-Leadership skills
-Agile knowledge would be beneficial
-Communication Skills
-IBM Products knowledge
-Architecture Governance standards knowledge
