We require a experience Estates Surveyor to come on baord for 3-6 months
Hourly rate: £20 - £21 LTD per hour.
Main Duties & Responsibilities
Overview:
This public sector Authority has a small in-house estates team managing a diverse portfolio of properties with the assistance of external partners. The in-house team now require an additional resource to progress key initiatives.
Requirement:
Not essential to be qualified if sufficiently experienced.
Role:
To compile and interpret property information on a range of assets from agricultural to development land and to assist in transfers and disposals. To assemble information and assist in the preparation of specifications to enable services to be tendered. Preparation of plans and documents highlighting key issues. Assembly and interpretation of title information identifying significant encumbrances or restrictions. Checking information on the ground and recommending appropriate course of action to overcome issues. Engaging with other Departments in order to understand requirements and develop specifications. Assisting in the preparation of tender documents
Experience/ability.
Educated to degree or equivalent standard. Experience of working in an estates management role. Good knowledge of disposals, covenants, leases, rights of way, wayleaves. Capability to interpret legal documents and to appreciate their significance. Excellent analytical and report writing skills. Used to working as part of a team and taking responsibility for a defined area of work
