Supply Chain Manager - Demand Manager - Kent. Our client is currently looking for a Supply Chain Manager to perform forecasting and demand planning for a range of products, maintaining correct stock levels.
You will generate market-driven sales forecasts and forecast commentaries updating key stakeholders (Marketing, Commercial, Supply Policy, Sales and Customer Services). You will ensure visibility of accurate market inventory through established replenishment systems and develop supply plans for items managed in a Supply to Order mode.
You will monitor inventory levels, follow up on delivery plans, product release and manage short supply situations.
You will also define and manage Supply Chain Agreements, inventory policies and promote best practice.
Experience of working with Excel, with SAP, DSS and Manugistics a strong advantage. Travel within the UK and some European travel will be required. Previous experience in a manufacturing/sales environment essential and knowledge of the pharmaceutical industry would be useful.
