Working for one of Australia's number 1 brand name organisations and part of a forward thinking and exciting team, your role will be charged with the responsibility of:
  • Assist with the set up and maintenance of reporting for online businesses
  • Produce weekly reporting for online trading divisions and assist in running weekly meetings
  • Explore opportunities to increase revenues/decrease costs through commercial analysis
  • Provide business case support for new online businesses and new initiatives
  • Manage relationship with 3rd party payment gateway and fraud management partners
  • Assist with the preparation of management reports and Board papers on a regular and ad-hoc basis
  • Development of forecasts, budgets and month end analysis
  • Track performance to business case
  • Supervise the Financial Analyst in the completion of month end accounting and administration tasks
  • Manage and report on the Capex for the Online team
  • Ability to manage ad-hoc work or projects as required
Required experience:
  • Ability to operate in both a Corporate and trading (retail) environment, so to communicate Online initiatives across all divisions.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with key internal stakeholders.
  • Capability to manage both basic accounting functions and to provide clear business analysis
  • Adaptability and capacity to support a business undergoing rapid change.
  • Ability to work with other team members to develop strategic initiatives..
  • Ability to act pro-actively and work to tight deadlines
  • Minimum 5 year professional/commercial experience in Financial and Management Accounting.
  • Business Modelling and Scenario planning experience.

Qualifications
  • CA, CPA or equivalent standard
  • Master/Undergraduate degree in a commercial discipline
  • Prior experience in budgeting, reporting and analysis
  • Prior experience in business modelling and sensitivity analysis.
  • Prior experience in setting up projects including financial evaluation, running projects and implementing the outcomes
  • Previous retail experience is advantageous
