Description
Headquartered in Dublin, a multinational insurance company requires a QA Test lead for a 6 month contract position. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work in growing multicultural company committed to empowering its employees.
Key Responsibilities:
-Plan, manage the workload of direct reports.
-Motivate reporting staff through regular team meetings and individual meetings
-Coach direct reports
-Perform testing for all projects as per Finance & IT project plan, plus additional ad-hoc projects
-Review, understand and interpret User Requirements and Functional Specification documents and provide input as necessary
-Develop specialist system knowledge of the operating and financial reporting systems to enable complete 'end to end' business process and financial understanding of each development project
-Create and/or acquire data needed for testing
-Build own knowledge base to enable comprehensive testing, including data input, for each functional area
-Develop detailed knowledge of the Financial structure of the operating system
You must have at least 2 years experience in people management in testing environment and hold a third level degree, ideally business/finance related or an appropriate professional qualification. You have a solid finance testing background and are able to demonstrate direct experience in the creation of test plans, execution of testing, review and documentation of test results and assess the impact of testing on P&L and Balance Sheet.
