The BO charging system engineer will be responsible for the daily operations and maintenance of the customers charging systems. Additionally if required, Emergency Support Handling and CSR Handling. Disturbance Investigation and troubleshooting. Meet customers KPI's.
Required skills and activities should include, but not be limited to:
- Experience with Integrating CS3/4/5 to an existing Network. CS-5 will be an added advantage
- Experience with configuring the following Charging System nodes: MINSAT, CRS, VXML-IVR, CCN, SDp, AIR/AF, VS, EMM and ERE (AIR/SDp), CCN
- 2 years of experience with systems integrations, implementations and interactive designs with Software Systems
- 2 years of experience within a technical System Integration Environment
- Good background with Shell Scripting, Solaris10, Oracle10G and Sybase
- Good understanding of Operating Systems (eg Solaris) etc..
- Good practical Experience with Charging System 3 . CS-5 will be ideal
- Good understanding with CC-ApI, UCIp, VSIp, RpC, CIp/SS7, CAp V2, SCAp V1/V2, CIp/Ip, XML_Web_Services, etc..
- Good analytical ability, problem solving, Good communication skills
- Ability to work independently, while managing customer expectations.
- Ability to evaluate customer requirements and provide solutions with support from other team members.
- Customer focused and results oriented
- Works well under pressure, Attention to details, Fast practical learning.
- Fluent in English
Qualifications
Preferably a BSC degree in Telecommunication Engineering and/or equivalent in any of the following, Computer Science, Degree with an emphasis on Software Engineering.
