Description
This nationwide industry leader has an immediate 12+ month contract opening in Carrollton for a SQL Server Developer. This position requires 3-5+ years experience with SQL Server development, DTS Packages, Stored Procedures, T-SQL, and developing/maintaining custom templates using document composition software. Requires strong analytical and problem solving skills. Experience reading/understanding Cobol is a plus. Requires experience translating functional requirements into programming designs, writing technical specifications and delivery high quality source code independently.
Will be responsible for researching and analysing data processing practices and procedures and developing solutions and recommendations for improvement. Will complete complex programming assignments by defining specifications, writing new or modified code, and testing the code to verify the program. Will maintain project estimates and project management timelines for major projects.
