Our Long Beach, CA Client is seeking multiple Cisco Call Manager Engineers (Gateway focused). 12+ Month Contract Position.

These Telephony Engineers will assist with design, development, implementation, and analysis of technical systems and interfaces relating to telephony technologies, specifically VOIP based systems. These Engineers will participate in design reviews, system reviews, implementations, troubleshooting and a variety of related tasks. In addition to Cisco Call Manager, Telephony, CVP Scripting, ICM Scripting, IVR and VoIP experience, these Engineers will have strong expertise in Gateway configuration & troubleshooting.

Job Summary

  • Assist with the design, build and implement local and enterprise-wide call center and Telephony solutions and interfaces.
  • This includes convergence of voice and data technologies and integration with Legacy systems.
  • Troubleshooting of Telephony related problems including VOIP, Call Center and Legacy system integration issues and to see them to their resolution.
  • Interface on regular basis with Business units/customer to ensure quick problem resolution and to convert their needs into technical solutions.
  • Develop and Maintain the Documentation for Telephony/Call center architecture, call flow design drawings, installation procedures and other related information.
  • Ensure all the Telephony related customer reporting is fully operational and provide support in case of problems.
  • Define, Evaluate, Test, and recommend new telephony and Call Center technologies.
  • Complies with required workplace safety standards.

Experience:

  • 5+ years experience in Voice and Data Networking technologies.
  • 3+ years experience in network performance, scalability, security, reliability and fault tolerance.
  • Knowledge of industry standards and practices related to Telephony in general and VOIP in particular. 
  • Expert troubleshooting skills.
  • Ability to convert business needs into technical solutions.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.

Certifications:

  • Preference for Cisco Certifications (CCNA, CCNP, CCNV, etc.)

REQUIRED:

  • Cisco Call Manager v7.0.
  • Gateway (configuration & troubleshooting).
  • IVR.
  • VoIP.
  • CVP Scripting.
  • ICM Scripting.
  • Telephony.

PREFERRED:

  • VMWare.
  • Cisco Call Manager v8.5.
  • Cisco Certifications.

Required Education/Experience

Bachelor degree in Computer Science or equivalent work experience.
