Title: IT Business Analyst - Database
Location: Jacksonville, FL; Charlotte, NC; or Plano, TX
Type: Contract
Duration: 6 months
Our client, a leading financial institution, seeks an IT Business Analyst with 3 to 5 years experience in analysis with expertise in different technologies, business areas, application wide analysis, and proposal of solutions. Contractor will: Assemble, analyze, and represent business requirements. Perform feasibility analysis, scope projects, prioritize deliverables, recommend alternative solutions and project strategies, and engage in negotiations. Responsible for high level implementation plans, data and process models, cost estimating, cost benefits analysis, and return on investments. These resources are also able to facilitate workshops such as JAD, RAD, and DRP sessions, etc. Business Analysts should also be able to perform as team leaders when necessary.
Primary Duties/Responsibilites: Run queries against SQL databases; import data into Excel and create reports; use SQL or SAS to query data; join tables; perform Excel v-lookups, conditional formatting and create pivot tables.
Ideal candidate will have 3 to 5 years experience working with appraisal data; strong SQL or SAS experience; exceptional Excel skills.
Requirements:
