High profile industry leader is seeking a System Analyst for a 10 month contract opportunity in Plano, TX.  Candidate will be responsible for the operating system and associated subsystems.  Provide system-level support of multi-user operating systems, hardware and software tools, including installation, configuration, maintenance, and support of these systems.  Identify alternatives for optimizing computer resources.  Ability to investigate and analyze information and to draw conclusions.  Ability to plan, implement, test, and troubleshoot system software.  Collect information to analyze and evaluate existing or proposed systems. Research, plan, install, configure, troubleshoot, maintain  and upgrade operating systems.  Research, plan, install, configure, troubleshoot, maintain and upgrade hardware and software interfaces with the operating system.  Analyze and evaluate present or proposed business procedures or problems to define data processing needs.  Work as a team member with other technical staff, such as networking to ensure connectivity and compatibility between systems.  Write and maintain system documentation. 

REQUIREMENTS: 
-5+ years system analysis experience.
-Excellent interpersonal skills - ability to work with cross functional teams.
-Strong communication skills (verbal and written) - ability to communicate to a broad technical and non-technical audience.
-Exceptional organizational skills - ability to manage projects and project budget.
-Advanced knowledge of concepts, principles, practices and procedures of multiple areas of IT.
-Must have testing experience - ability to work with QA teams.
-Strong facilitation and meeting management skills.
-Excellent analytic and problem solving skills.
-Extensive knowledge of SDLC processes, methodology and project management skills. 
-Prior exposure to RPG and Microsoft technologies. 
-A positive 'Can Do' attitude. 
-Four year college degree in computer science, IT or equivalent experience.

PREFERRED SKILLS: 
-Post graduate degree preferred. 
-Prior work experience in Mortgage Banking is a plus.
