Description
Seeking a Quality Auditor for our Dallas Client located in Dallas, Texas for a 6 month contract.
Statement of Work
- Developing and documenting a risk and process based audit system, encompassing all aspects of the Quality Manual, Network Centric Systems (NCS) and Policies and Prodcedures (as applicable), AS9100, and Nadcap requirements.
- Utilize the existing NCS approved process auditing checklists, and will identify, classify, and map the quality process to the existing checklists.
- Develop audit questions that are tailored to the Quality Manual, using the existing NCS checklists as a rough guideline, with the ultimate goal of touching every document in the Quality Manual over the course of an 18 month audit schedule. In the event that an NCS checklist does not pertain to Precision Manufacturing, the candidate will be called upon to develop manufacturing- and operations-specific checklists that are relevant to RPM. The candidate may be asked to audit to their completed checklists.
- As part of information discovery, the candidate will be required to interview, as needed, members of the purchasing, manufacturing, quality, and process organizations to gain an understanding of process flow.
Once the audit checklists and process mapping are complete, the candidate will be expected to debrief the Quality organization and train audit staff on the use of the checklists (as required).
Education/Experience:
Candidate should possess a B.S. in Engineering (M.E., Chem. E., ie) or some other similar technical field, although experience will be considered in leui of this requirement. Experience with auditing in a manufacturing environment to AS9100 requirements is required.
Job Skills:
The candidate must possess excellent written and verbal communication skills. Proficiency in Excel required. A thorough understanding of AS9100 and Nadcap quality systems are required. ASQ Quality Auditor certification desired, but not required. Familiarity with the concepts of risk and process based auditing required.
