Our client located in Dallas is looking for a web application engineer to join their team. They are seeking someone that loves building dynamic web applications, open source technologies and agile development. Someone that's collaborative & can work well with other engineers and designers, but can also work in a self-directed atmosphere with freedom to innovate. Someone that loves the web, and is passionate about new web development technologies, from Ruby on Rails and cloud computing infrastructures to HTML5 and JavaScript. Someone that takes pride in doing great work that cares about the details and in shipping great products.

The selected candidate will work in new product development, including designing and building the Back End platform for a new service offering, deploying staging and production environments, and scaling the platform for successful use by many users. Work with business users to gather requirements, create strategy on roadmap and release schedules. Work with designers to make sure the Back End applications can be accessed with a highly usable user interface and client applications. Work with content partners to take syndicated feeds and manage highly dynamic content delivery, including RSS, images, video, and dynamic data from web platform API 's including social media systems. Create reporting and analytics systems for maintaining and analysing user and application data patterns and usage.
