Description
High profile industry leader is seeking a Senior Data Analyst for a 6 month contract opportunity in Plano, TX. Will assist in the design and development of a default loan data mart.
Requirements:
- Four year degree in computer related area, prefer Computer Science or Management Information Systems
- 5 years experience designing and creating ETL scripts to load data into a Datawarehouse/Data Mart
- 5 years working as a SQL developer on a Datawarehouse/Data Marts
- 3 years experience working with MS SQL Server. Recent experience with 2005 and 2008
- 3 years experience creating SSIS Packages to load data
- 3 years experience writing database procedures, functions, and triggers (database objects)
- Expert knowledge of SQL
- Experience creating technical design documents and unit test plans/scripts
- Understanding of relational database concepts
- Understanding of Star Schemas
- Possess strong problem solving and interpersonal skills
- Detail oriented and tests own work thoroughly
- Effective Team Player
Nice to Have:
- Cognos
- Knowledge of AS400 data structures
- Familiarity with IBM InfoSphere Data Architect
