Upcom Ltd is currently looking for a SQL Server Database Administrator (REF UPC120206) to be part of the team in one of our clients in Brussels, Belgium.

Description of Tasks
  • Install, configure, and maintain multiple SQL Server databases and related products, following reference architecture and standards.
  • Ensure security, data integrity, and maintain a high level of systems availability.
  • Provide support to developers.
  • Ensure 2nd line support (handling incidents and problems)
  • Ensure 3rd level support (performance tuning and troubleshooting)
Specific skills
  • Minimum of 2 years experience.
  • Proven knowledge of SQL Server DBE 2005 and 2008 R2.
  • Knowledge of SLQ Server BI 2008 R2
Security and risk awareness
Knowledge of SQL Server Clustering and SQL Server Database Mirroring will be an asset.

Languages
Dutch or French and English

Specific requirement
  • Duration: 6 months (with possible extensions)
  • Start date: ASAP
  • Office location: Brussels, Belgium
  • Rate: 400 max/working day, according to candidate's level.
