Description
Unix Environment Support Engineer is currently required on a Contract basis for a Bournemouth based financial organisation.
The successful candidate will be involved in providing 3rd level production support. The role will also involve supporting existing security engineers as well as interacting with level 2 support teams in order to maximise the efficiency of the environment.
The successful candidate must have a background as an UNIX Environment Support Engineer within a global financial organisation. You will also have in depth knowledge of all flavours of UNIX. Experience of WebSphere 6/7, Tomcat/Apache, SQL and Perl/Unix Shell Scripting will also be required for this role.
