IT Business Analyst required by leading investment bank to join a very busy product control department working on a global financial systems initiative. This project is a multi-year initiative which is driven by the FSA, improvements to data quality and straight through processing. There is significant investment within this programme this particular role will have you focused on assessing the golden source of data and ensuring it is in line with the overall project specification. Day to day you will need to understand and document current application flows within the architecture. Analyse data requirements, particularly sourcing reference data such as listed derivative product static data and identify and document changes to the front-to-back application flows that will be necessary to support business requirements. You will need to demonstrate a hand on approach and the ability to analyse large volumes of data. Ideally you will have worked in a product control department and have a thorougher understanding of P&L and the associated upstream and downstream dependencies.
