My client is currently recruiting for a CAD Draughtsman for a 6 month contract, to work from home 4 days and week, and in the office in Hampshire 1 day a week.
CANDIDATES MUST HAVE SOLIDWORKS AT HOME

Role
The role involves working with a team of Project Leaders and Electro-magnetic, mechanical and electronic design engineers to support the delivery of world class designs for application-specific solutions.
Main Duties/Responsibilities
*3D Design of mechanical components and assemblies using Solidworks
*Maintain Legacy drawings using Autodesk Inventor and Autocad
*Production of detail drawings, bill of materials and assembly instructions
*Maintain configuration control of drawings using PDM
*Maintain BOM structures on MRP from drawing data
*Work effectively within multidisciplinary teams to support the New Product Introduction process.
*Work within company procedures and contribute to their development, the objective being to maximise company efficiency whilst meeting all customer requirements.
Other Responsibilities/Non-essential Functions
*Undertake training that is identified as a requirement of the role as identified by the role Manager.
*Undertake all other reasonable requests that are made by the role manager/acting manager or Directors.
*At times of reduced department staff attendance there will be a need to be flexible and provide support outside of the normal tasks of the job to ensure customer satisfaction.
