Description
WA Consultants are looking for a team of Experienced Linux Low Level Engineers/Specialists for an urgent requirement in Finland. The contract is 6 months initially but the work will last longer and applicants are welcome to request 12 months up front.
Qualifications
To successfully manage this demanding and interesting role, the suitable candidate should meet the following qualifications:
B.Sc. or M.Sc. degree in the relevant field
At least four years of software development experience
Strong knowledge of C programming language
Solid Linux Kernel-level development experience, either commercial or open-source; experience in creating device drivers
Working knowledge of Linux operating system
Solid command of Linux development tools (gcc, gdb, make, etc)
Ability to work independently and take initiative
Good interpersonal communication skills
Fluency in English, both written and spoken
In addition we also appreciate the following capacities:
Familiarity with MeeGo/Android platform architecture
Experience in working with Linux Kernel open-source community
Familiarity with ARM/Intel architecture
Multimedia and graphics experience
Familiarity with HW debuggers (Lauterbach, etc)
