Technical Skills:
*Very strong Oracle Architect/Application DBA, with excellent relational databases design and development, knowledge of database tuning and technologies.
*Experience in validation of business and data requirements, including: Data Modeling (Conceptual, Logical, and Physical), Data integration (ETL, EAI, and web services), Meta data, Data delivery and Business intelligence.
*Knowledge and experience of Datawarehouse design, data transformations, data mining, data marts, DWH/BI project implementations, ETL and BI applications and tools (Oracle, Informatica).
*Strong knowledge of SQL querying, PL/SQL, and ODBC connectivity with the ability to reuse/develop/tailor SQL.
*Assist and lead the resolution of complex data problems for large/complex projects.
*Knowledge of disk hardware architecture, RAID implementation, disk load balancing etc..
*Data transfer tools (ETL) knowledge, Informatica knowledge.
Desirable:
*Strong O/S knowledge and practical experience of supporting Windows/Unix/VMware platforms, working on server/client environments, databases and applications in a production environment.
*Good understanding of MOC (management of change) and why it is required.
*Knowledge of SQL Server - database tuning and design
*Ability to consult among groups including network, IT Security, database, desktop and Middleware to integrate and apply new architectures and technologies.
*Understanding of Enterprise Data Model and be able to collaborate with the creation and maintenance of processes and standards for the Enterprise Data Model.
