Automotive Industry leader is seeking a Data Architect for a 6-month opportunity working on an Electronic Bill and Payment Processing system  who will be responsible for defining the structure, organization, and usage of the company's data. This requires working directly with project teams and business representatives to fully understand data requirements, and organizing those requirements into data models that represent the nature and interactions of the data. The data architect must be involved in the early stages of projects and produce data related design deliverables that will enable project teams to build systems in keeping with the overall data architecture strategy. The data architect must maintain expert knowledge of internal and external systems, particularly related to the production and consumption of data. You will need to be a highly professional and self-motivated individual with the ability and desire to work with experienced IT professionals in all disciplines of a dynamic, evolving environment. You must have a comprehensive understanding of data management best practices and ability to be a leader in their implementation. You should have a working knowledge of data architecture principles, terminology, and data modelling techniques. You will need a demonstrated ability to produce conceptual, logical, and physical data models. You must have excellent verbal and written communication skills in order to document and present data models, strategies, standards, and concepts to both business and IT audiences; and excellent technical judgment.
