Job Spec/Responsibilities:
Candidates must have Layer 2 design experience.
Switching fundamentals - Address learning, Forward/Filter decisions, Loop avoidance
Ethernet family standards
Spanning tree protocol and Loop avoidance protocols
Ethernet Switching Protection mechanisms
VLAN concept, Trunking and trunking protocols
LAG and LACP
QoS in Ethernet Carrier Ethernet - "Q n Q"
Provider's bridge Ethernet switch configuration and troubleshooting
Router configuration Access Control Lists - concept, types and configuration WAN protocols and configuration IP Addressing, IPv4 sub-netting QoS mechanisms at IP level
