Electrical Test Lab Technician
Sirch incorporated is currently looking for an Electrical Test Lab Technician for a 6 month contract in Greenville, SC.
The initial work is assembly of equipment, test stands and mounting electrical components to be tested onto boards. This assembly is in preparation for customer testing. There will be some simple testing down the line as well. We are looking for someone who has both an electrical and mechanical background/aptitude, likes working with their hands but also has in interest in electronics (electronic components). Some of it is repetitive work, and all of it is hands on work. We need someone who is excited about the opportunity and is self motivated. The ideal candidate will have experience repairing electrical devices, which would include repair/replacement of electrical components.
Education & Experience
Requirements:
A.S. Degree in science, technology or engineering field. 0-2 years of related experience.
Preferred:
B.S. Degree in science, technology or engineering field. 2+ years of related experience.
Skills, Abilities & Certifications
Requirements:
Ability to execute lab scale experiments and handle complex work assignments. Must be able to work independently and as a team with little supervision. This position requires initiative, judgment, planning and ingenuity. Proven communication and organization skills. Proficient in MS Office.
Preferred: Knowledge of Foxpro and MS Project desired.
