Financial industry experience highly preferred, as a senior content developer, you will produce and maintain content, graphics and multimedia for corporate web presence and other customer facing technologies.  Position requires knowledge and skills in areas of web technologies, multimedia design, and graphic design.

Key Responsibilities/Duties:

  • Uses knowledge and skills in the area of advanced technical programming, interaction design and user experience to design, develop, execute and update content and graphics using the most appropriate technologies and tools (eg, Vignette CMS, HTML/XHTML, AJAX, CSS, JavaScript, Acrobat, Photoshop, Illustrator, Flash/Actionscript, etc.) to be delivered using the most appropriate medium (ie, web, email, PowerPoint, CD, DVD, audio/video, etc.).
  • Partners with eTechnology to create and maintain website grids, portlets and updates JSP files as necessary.
  • Keeps functionality and design of site current with appropriate code standards, browser compatibility, site structure, information architecture, usability, navigation design, etc.
  • Works collaboratively with other members of the e-Services team as well as other business units to develop web-based solutions based on business requirements, and ensures content is posted by deadline and promoted appropriately on the website(s).
  • Assists in the planning and development of the overall vision, design and branding of the company's new and existing websites, and ensure that the web design strategy is consistent with the branding principles of the organization.
  • Researches and analyzes web best practices, emerging technologies and market trends to identify innovations in web and user interface design.
  • Participates in development of corporate web design style guides and standards for Invesco North America.
  • Creates documentation and recommends development improvements and enhancements related to the Content Team workflow processes.
  • Act as a primary (large projects) point of contact with other business units for new content requests as delegated by the Manager and/or Supervisor.
  • Reviews and provides guidance on content and image updates by other team members prior to publishing updates as requested.
  • Assists in compliance filings for Invesco Aim websites as requested.

Formal Education: A Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or another Internet-related field is preferred.
