Description
This Dallas-based industry leader has an immediate 6+ month contract opening for an Infrastructure Project Manager. This position requires proven experience with Windows upgrades. Prefer Project Life Cycle Management and Infrastructure Delivery experience. Any storage background experience is a plus. Must be detail-oriented, self-motivated, and able to exercise independent judgment while developing methods and techniques in order to achieve results.
This Project Manager will serve as point-of-contact for Infrastructure activities in support of projects/initiatives. Will manage Infrastructure resource activity (sequencing, resource planning, validation testing, scheduling, budgeting, quality control, risk management, etc.), and deliveries to ensure adherence of infrastructure life cycle processes (requirements gathering, build out processes, HOTS process, updates, upgrades, rollouts, and decommissioning) for assigned projects.
Required Qualifications:
5+ years of recent experience with Windows upgrades
3+ years with scope, time, cost, quality, and technical integration management experience.
3+ years of recent experience with Business Process Integration (ie. Vitria, Tibco).
3+ years risk, resource, and procurement management experience.
3+ years with Windows, Linux, and Solaris Operating Systems.
Experience with Application Servers (Weblogic, WebSphere), and Web/Proxy Servers (iPlanet, IIS, ISA).
Advanced knowledge of MS Office (Word, Powerpoint, Excel).
Intermediate knowledge of project management methodologies and MS Project.
Prefer experience in SAP environment setup and administration.
Prefer Oracle 10g database support experience.
Prefer expertise in BMC suite (Patrol, Event Manager, Remedy, Atrium).
