COREP Regulatory Change
The Bank is also implementing a new Group Regulatory Reporting System, which will be designed to meet the requirements of CoRep (as well as the remaining FSA reporting).
The role will support Common Reporting Gap analysis and EBA consultation paper review. You will provide Regulatory Reporting subject matter expertise to Governance and Control, Data Quality and Business Readiness project workstreams of the Group Finance CoRep project.
- Provide subject matter expertise on areas of the Gap Analysis, supporting business units and providing recommendations on interpretation
- Support the Group Finance response to the EBA consultation paper review
- Provide Regulatory Reporting subject matter expertise to the data quality workstream, ensuring data quality review activities are in place and data to be reported meets Group data quality requirements
- Provide Regulatory Reporting subject matter expertise to the Business Readiness workstream of the Group Finance CoRep project, including input into target operating model,
Educated to at least degree level, qualified accountant with good technical skills;
- Good awareness of current regulatory issues facing banks (and European banks in particular)
- FSA prudential regulatory reporting experience (as opposed to liquidity/compliance although these will also be valuable)
- Understanding of Standardised and IRB rules and reporting
- Experience working on or with change projects in a large organisation
- Experience getting ready for and working on a parallel reporting process
