Our client is currently seeking a MS Exchange Administrator to join its team on a exciting contract opportunity. This role will consists of monitoring, troubleshooting, problem resolution, and system administration services for messaging infrastructure

Job Description:

The purpose of this role is to provide technical support to be successful in this role you will require experience in, Proactive Metrics and Improvement, Escalated incidents and provide resolution, Technical Solution Engineering, Drive reactive Problem Management, Direct/indirect involvement in architecture designing, Solution designing, delivery & documentation, Perform knowledge transfers & training, Customer sensitivity and Rapid Response, Proactive and Clear Communication. You will require to backup manage for messaging Servers. These Servers are monitored on a proactive basis for service interruption, server performance and backup failures. Server hardware is being managed with coordination with Hardware vendors.

- VERITAS, IBM Tivoli, NTBackup, Microsoft Exchange and Active Directory, Antivirus
- Trend, Symantec, Microsoft Forefront, Email Archiving, Windows server Administration, Excellent knowledge on Microsoft Exchange ) and Active Directory, Troubleshooting and Configuration of Exchange and Active Directory, Knowledge of Server Hardware is required, Sound knowledge on Backup and Restore, Hands-on experience in troubleshooting and configuration of Anti-spam, Antivirus software, Strong in multiple OS
- Win2K/Win2K3/XP/Vista, Performance Management & Optimization, Experience on Storage and Cluster

Experience: 3.5 years to 8 years in Exchange Server administration

Required Skills:

  • Technical degree (eg BE/B Tech or Diploma)
  • Certification with MCSE 2003 in Messaging.
