IT Infrastructure Solutions Architect/Manager, 6 months
Dublin

One of our IT clients is looking to hire the Technical Solutions Manager for their office in Dublin North.

Responsibilities
- Gathering and analysing the client requirements either through RFP or direct discussions.
- Define solution strategy and overall design.
- Generate solution cost models, using recommended tools
- Manage and co-ordinate the engagement team: architects, technical competencies, pricer and C&N.
- Manage the utilisation of the technical "Bid and Proposal" budget for the project engagement.
- Responsible to ensure the technical solution links to the cost case, proposal and contract.
- Responsible to minimise the business risk by acting on issues, gaps and items that are identified as high risk
- Manage technical due diligence & gap analysis.
- Ensure that all delivery, legal and pricing, QA processes are complied with.
- Assist in preparation of proposals and associated client communications.
- Participate in presentation of technical solution to client.
- Gain client's confidence in IBM's technical & delivery capability.
- Co-ordinate the preparation of contracts: scope, SoW, SLA, pricing, transition plan.
- Handover to delivery team upon contract signature.

Skills Required:
- Local market knowledge (Republic of Ireland) and customer focus.
- Demonstrated technical and people leadership skills.
- Design/architecture type skills in the infrastructure domain.
- Bachelor's Degree in IT.
- At least five similar years IT infrastructure experience.
- English: Fluent.
- Experience in networks and end user solutions.
- Basic project management skills.
- Basic costing and pricing skills.
- Proven experience of delivering in a large Organisation
- Ability to work with minimum supervision.
- Ability to work as part of a team, working together to achieve goals.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Excellent knowledge sharing/coaching/mentoring abilities.
