One of our IT clients is looking to hire the Middleware Applications Architect for their office in Dublin North.
The Architect, a member of the Application Support Team, is responsible for operations delivery, assurance and information security across technologies. This individual will be the technical lead of a team of application specialists focused on delivering the service.
Skills required:
*Experience in the Financial Services in large transaction processing environment
*In-depth understanding and experience within complex multi-tier infrastructure environments including more than one the base applicable technologies: WebSphere, Tibco, MQ, Oracle, SQL Server, NET/IIS/ASP, Sharepoint, Actuate, Crystal Reports, Java, SharePoint, Solaris, AIX, Windows, PL/SQL
*Working knowledge of network technologies, Firewalls, DNS, TCP/IP, SSH, HTTP, HTTPS, SOAP
*Experience in assisting developers with writing and tuning database code.
*Understand high availability implementations and techniques for improving mean time to failure for applicable systems.
